Jimmy LaFave - You're A Big Girl Now
Today it's December 27th. On this day in 1974 Dylan was spending time with his mother and brother David in Minnesota. David had listened to the recordings of the New York Blood On The Tracks recording sessions and talked his brother into re-record some of these songs. Dylan rented the Sound 80 Studio Minneapolis for December 27 and 30 and recorded with Kevin Odegard (guitar), Peter Ostroushko (mandolin), Billy Peterson (bass), Gregg Inhofer (keyboards) and Bill Berg (drums).
The first song that got a remake was You're A Big Girl Now.
Please watch Jimmy LaFave and his band perform on the MusicFog.com stage at Threadgill's south. SXSW 2009.
