Adam Sippola - Who Killed Davey Moore?
Today is the 26th of December: Boxing day! In the liturgical calendar of Western Christianity, Boxing Day is the second day of Christmastide, and also St. Stephen's Day. It originated in the United Kingdom, and is celebrated in a number of countries that previously formed part of the British Empire. It is also celebrated as Boxing Day in the Catalonia region of Spain. In some European countries, such as Germany, Poland and Scandinavia, 26 December is celebrated as a Second Christmas Day. In The Netherlands it is called "Tweede Kerstdag".
There are competing theories for the origins of the term, none of which is definitive. So we could even opt for the least likely to get a hook for today's VotD: Adam Sippola performs a live looping cover of Who Killed Davey Moore? by Bob Dylan in Duluth, Minnesota.
