Bill Kirchen - It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry

Walter Becker passed away yesterday, aged 67. Walter was, with Donald Fagen, the co-founder of Steely Dan. Can't Buy a Thrill is their debut studio album, released in November 1972 by ABC Records. The title of the album is taken in reference to the opening line of the Bob Dylan song "It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry".
Let's remember him with this (somewhat Steely Dan-like) version by Bill Kirchen
