Naima is a singer-songwriter who is currently based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Born in Aachen, Germany, she has been playing live since the age of thirteen - from humble beginnings in little venues, moving on to small festivals and international venues, when she moved to Brighton, UK at the age of 18. It was in Brighton where she recorded her first album Maniac in 2014, coming back to Aachen a year later to record the second album Oryx Moon, both produced by Jack Devaney. Oryx Moon features the song „Luise“ for which she was nominated Artist of the Year 2015 by Global Rockstar Magazine. In 2016 the singer-songwriter moved to Düsseldorf, Germany where she is currently working on her third record. Her most recent project is a monthly YouTube series called Sunday Morning Sessions that shows different musicians playing early morning jamsessions in combination with atmospheric visual sunday-morning-impressions.
On her YouTube channel Naima has a project with the title "Talkin' Bob Dylan" where she performs 19 covers in a style that reminds somewhat of Melanie Safka.
