Waiting for spring to come, smoking down the track

Hello Visitor,

Although our everyday routines kept running in the last 5 months there haven’t been many additions to the main cover- and artist-list. We had other priorities, apparently.

Things have changed. In the last weeks we updated both lists:

26682 covers were added, to a total of 82482

5093 artists were added, to a total of 20579

Anton Bohnen added his usual share (thanks!) share plus we harvested from ReverbNation and Setlist.fm

We are doing well. A lot of work has been done on Search Engine Optimalisation (SEO), which results in an average of 280 visitors per day. A link on “Expecting Rain” boosts numbers up to 800.

Surprisingly there are not that many comments to the items. We ask ourselves if, maybe, all the information is so clear/complete that there is nothing to discuss?

Our article with all the originals from Spotify was very well received. It got almost 2000 hits and a bunch of reactions in the mail.

Video of the Day

This is the job of Hans Bosch. Nowadays he tries to link a YouTube video to “this day in history”, which results in remarkable choices. Every Saturday there is a street-busker., on Sundays we will praise the Lord.

Our focus in March is at the Translations Section. Our goal is to add about 100 translations. If you know of one that is missing, please send us a mail.

Dylan Fest

The 27th Annual Dylanfest is coming up sooner than we think! We want to make sure you know all the important information so you can make your plans to join us this year! Get your DISCOUNTED tickets now!

Old Crow Medicine Show Ready Live Album of Dylan's 'Blonde on Blonde'

old crow medicine showIn May 2016, Old Crow Medicine Show paid tribute to Bob Dylan's 1966 masterpiece Blonde on Blonde with a live re-creation of the album at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The Grammy-winning roots-music group, known for transforming a Dylan song sketch into the ubiquitous hit "Wagon Wheel," recorded the performance and will release 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde on April 28th.

Are back. This whole part of the website - data plus images - was transferred out of our site completely to CWAC last year. It replaced the magazine section on that site. Unfortunately the partnership didn’t work out. We moved it all back and upped it again as a standalone website, here.

    Greetz for now,
