At The Ferry Terminal - Aust, Bristol

An homage on a wall in Aust, nr Bristol to the genius that is Mr Bob Dylan.
He was there to take the ferry across to Wales as the first Severn Bridge had not yet been completed.
See 'No Direction Home' dvd cover to see him at the ferry station.

The site is the remains of the old ferry terminal/pier at Old Passage near Aust; the wall is what's left of the toll building.

Only a few months after Barry Feinstein took his historic photo (on May 11th, 1966) the ferry across the Severn closed for good. Bob was one of the last people to use it.
