"I Shall Be Released" is a song written by Bob Dylan in 1967 first released on The Band's debut Music from big Pink (1968); it also featured in The Last Waltz. Bob himself has "basement tapes" versions released in 1991 and 2014, as well as a very different version recorded for Greatest Hits vol. 2 (1971). Ignore the tone deaf, rude drunk singing and acting up because he saw my daughter's "Free Kesha" sign, and enjoy this soulful rendition.
